Harvest of Hope
November 10, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
| $100As auctions go, you would be hard pressed to find one as exciting as the South Boston Community Health Center’s Harbor of Hope Auction & Cocktail Reception. The annual event to benefit the programs and services of the Health Center will be taking place on Thursday, November 10th at 6:30 PM at the Seaport Hotel in the Plaza Ballroom. WCVB’s Mike Wankum will serve as MC and Auctioneer.
This year, in addition to offering spectacular items, the Health Center is thrilled to be honoring John Drew, President of The Drew Company and Representative Brian Dempsey,
Chair of the house Ways and Means Committee.
Started in 1999, the auction itself is one of South Boston’s best fundraising events. Where else can you get a villa for 6 in Tuscany for a week? Or the opportunity for two of you to see Hamilton on Broadway? Two seats on the deck of a tall ship during the Parade of Sails?
How about dinner for 6 with Mayor Marty Walsh – cooked and hosted Master Chef Barbara Lynch at her home? With ten spectacular live items and 80 silent items, there will be something for everyone including trips, theater experiences, dinners, spa services and unique experiences you won’t find anywhere else.
Your ticket will include lots of great food, music, drinks, and the chance to mix and mingle while checking out fabulous silent auction items and taking part in the exciting bidding wars that always break out over the live items.
The proceeds of the event go directly to programs and services of the South Boston Community Health Center. Over the past 16 years, the auction has helped us to open a new digital mammography suite and a food pantry where we serve over 400 families a month; provide life-saving services to people who are battling addiction; provide translation services for patients who don’t speak English and helped to launch a new primary care practice in the South Boston Seaport.
Please join in the fun and help keep the South Boston Community Health Center healthy. For more information, call Margaret Lynch at 617-464-7505. Tickets can be purchased online at www.sbchc.org. Join us on November 10th!
