Get ready for some good old fashioned family fun!  The MOM’s Club of South Boston is hosting a Southie Family Fun Day!  Gather up the kids, put on some sunblock and head to Marine Park on Saturday, June 2nd.   Enjoy bouncy houses, music, kids entertainers like Jenny the Juggler, face painting, the farmers market, and lots more!  The fun begins at 11am and goes until 4pm.  For more information visit www.southiefamilyfunday.org.

Drink some beer! The Craft Beer Fest is in town this weekend.  The fourth annual Craft Beer Fest kicks off from 6pm to 9:30pm on Friday, June 1rd and will continue on through Saturday, June 2nd from 1pm-4:30pm and 6pm to 9:30 pm at the Seaport World Trade Center (200 Seaport Blvd.) Sample hundreds of handcrafted beers from all over the USA.  There will be guest speakers, beer and food pairings and opportunities to meet the brewers.  You must be 21 plus with a valid I.D.  For more information visit www.harpoonbrewery.com.
Tickets are $45 per person per session

Go for a bike ride!  Don’t let your bike collect dust in your hallway.  Call MyBike – Southie’s new one-stop bike shop.  They offer a concierge service.  One of the MyBike helpful staff members will come directly to you and whisk off your broken bike in the back of their truck.  How awesome is that?  Within a few days, you’ll have your new and improved bike back ready for a ride.  What’s better than taking a nice bike ride along the beach – especially M Street beach on a hot day!
Fee for concierge service is $10 each way.  If you have your own truck, you can drop off directly to the good people of MyBike too.  MyBike, 516 East Second Street 617-202-9720 (mybikeonline.com)

Take an art tour!  On Sunday, June 3rd from noon to 6pm dozens of artists and crafts people of South Boston open their studios to the public.  It’s a great way to explore and maybe even add to your art collection!  For a full list of participants go to http://www.southbostonopenstudios.org/.  This event is free and open to the public.  Remember it’s so important to support our local artists!

Visit the waterfront!  With sunny skies upon us, it’s a perfect opportunity to take advantage of the South Boston Waterfront.  Enjoy lunch, dinner or a cocktail at one of the many new spots harborside.  For list of suggested places to eat and drink visit: ://caughtinsouthie.com/restaurants-bar/eat-and-drink
