Cisco Brewers Seaport Gets Approval to Expand Capacity

Cisco Brewers Seaport is getting a little bigger!

According to Universal Hub, the Boston Licensing Board has approved an increase in capacity at Cisco Brewers Seaport, located at 85 Northern Ave., from 996 people to 1,200.

The brewery and entertainment venue originally requested a capacity of 1,425 but scaled back its plans.

The Seaport Neighborhood Association had asked the board to delay its decision, citing concerns about noise, traffic, and crowds gathering outside the venue. While neighbors aren’t necessarily opposed to the expansion, they want more time to work through those issues with Cisco.

The Licensing Board ultimately approved the increase, noting that Cisco has made efforts to address neighborhood concerns, including plans for an on-site delivery area to help reduce traffic congestion.

Cisco is currently closed for the season, and the approval will allow the business to begin planning events for 2027.  Cisco Fenway is open year round!
