Have You Been to Common Craft Yet? Get the details on one of Southie’s newest hot spots.

Just a few weeks after opening at 85 Damrell Street in South Boston’s South Standard building, Common Craft is creating quite a buzz in the neighborhood. Led by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tony Messina, the chef-driven restaurant focuses on great food, creative cocktails, and showcasing the people and products behind every dish and drink.
The menu features plenty of crowd favorites, including the Warm Parker House Rolls, Black Pepper Cheeseburger, Steak Frites, and Rigatoni alla Vodka. New additions like the Farro Creste Di Gallo, Little Gem Caesar, Bone-In Pork Milanese, and the “CCFC” Fried Half Chicken are quickly earning fans too.
Looking for a weekly tradition? Wednesdays are all about Fried Chicken Buckets with five-piece fried chicken, coleslaw, and mac and cheese (while supplies last), and Thursdays feature the restaurant’s popular Girl Dinner special. For $42, guests can enjoy a Caesar Salad or Tallow Fries, a Common Craft Charcuterie Board, a glass of Prosecco, and dessert. Sweet!
The cocktail program is just as thoughtfully curated, and the restaurant also offers weekend brunch, making it a great option for a date night, dinner with friends, or a leisurely weekend meal.
And there’s even more to look forward to. An outdoor patio is currently in the works, just in time for summer.
If you haven’t checked out Common Craft yet, now’s the perfect time. Stop by and see what’s new.  You can make a reservation here!Â
