Did you hear the explosion on Wednesday night in Southie?
According to WCVB, there was a manhole explosion in Southie on Wednesday around 8:50pm in the middle of a crosswalk at a four-way intersection in South Boston. BFD and BPD responded to the underground fire at Dot. Ave and Farther Songin Way.
Eversource worked all night and restored power to that neighborhood early Thursday morning.
No injuries were reported.
