Potentially 300K COVID-19 cases linked to Biogen Conference last spring

Good grief.
The Boston Globe is reporting that between 205,000 and 300,000 COVID-19 cases across the nation and around the world can likely be traced to the two-day Boston conference held in February.
Back in February, 175 people attended a Biogen conference at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf hotel. A week later, attendees began getting sick with more than 99 testing positive for COVID-19. Several boarded planes and traveled all over the country and the world – many even attended other conferences. And the rest is the plot from Contagion.
