Learn to Curl

Seaport’s winter wonderland Snowport continues to offer Iceless Curling through February 26 as well as complimentary Learn to Curl classes taught by The North End Curling Club on select Saturdays from 2pm – 4pm (Curling Lane reservations can be booked in advance via bostonseaport.xyz/snowport). Snowport is open seven days a week, Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 8pm; Friday – Saturday, 11am – 9pm; and Sunday, 11am – 8pm. It is located at Seaport Common, 85 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA 02210.

Drink Beer for a Cause

In the spirit of local collaboration and supporting women’s professional sports, Dorchester Brewing Co. and Boston Pride released a limited edition beer and hard seltzer to directly support the team. The beers, “All In” Golden Lager and “Hear Me Roar” Prickly Pear Hard Seltzer are now available in cans at the Boston Pride home games at the Warrior Ice Arena this season!  They are also available as 4-packs in the Dorchester Brewing Company Tap Room. Dorchester Brewing Company will be donating a portion of all proceeds based on sales at Warrior Ice Arena as well as the DBC Tap Room in Boston.

Make some soap

Fanny Osorio will be hosting a soap-making class at Cannonball Cafe. You’ll get to make and take home two custom natural soaps. This fun and creative event takes place on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 7pm to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased here.

Boardwalk Pizza is now open

Southie’s newest pizza joint is now open!  Have you tried it yet? Located in the old AK’s spot at the corner of D and Second Street (the old Teamsters Pub for all you lifelong residents), this is Boardwalk Pizza’s second location. It first opened at Marina Bay back in 2020 and features thin-crust pizzas and sandwiches. Give it a try!

Take a Winter Wildlife Cruise

Calling all wildlife lovers! Hop aboard a (heated) high-speed ferry and discover how alive the harbor is in the winter months during this curated 3-hour cruise. Naturalists include representatives from the National Park Service and more! Ferry features ample indoor seating and refreshments available for purchase. Takes place on Saturday from 12pm-3pm.  Leaves from Long Wharf. Tickets are between $15-30. You can learn more here!
