Oh, hello summer! It’s time to head down to the waterfront, where the new and improved Seaport area is bustling with good food, hoppin’ bars, and plenty of places to soak up the sun and the sea. And whether you’re searching for your next summer love, or looking to heat things up with your old flame, we’ve got your top picks for what to see and do this summer.
Where to Eat
Lola 42 – 22 Liberty Drive
Sister spot to the famous Nantucket restaurant, Lola 41 offers sea-inspired eats with a global twist. Think Japanese izakaya snacks and sushi or littlenecks with black bean sauce, etc. Complete with a cool and refreshing cocktail menu.
City Tap – 10 Boston Wharf Rd
For a laid-back date night, head to City Tap and cozy up on their outdoor couches and fire pits. We highly recommend an order (or two) of the wings, washed down with a top-notch draft beer pick.
Where to Drink
Legal Harborside Roof Deck – 270 Northern Ave
This top-level roof deck bar is a tried and true go-to for one of the best views in the city. Plus, their summer sangria is enough to make anyone fall in love.
Drink – 348 Congress Street
…It’s all in the name. Innovative bartenders craft up personalized cocktails in an ultra-cool city setting.
Where to Play
Kings Dining & Entertainment- 60 Seaport Blvd
Boston’s second (and biggest!) location features a sprawling bar, arcade games, comfort food and of course plenty of bowling. Plus, it’s open till 2am, so you can keep the party going.
The Lawn on D – 420 D Street
Not just for swing pictures anymore. Check out the Lawn on D for live music, good local eats, movie nights, art installations, and plenty of fun all season long.
