Southie resident and hockey player Michael Callow was chosen to play for the 2014 Junior Bruins Brick team.  This team represents the best of the best in New England Squirt hockey players and Michael will be representing Southie, USA!

As part of the Boston Junior Bruins, Michael will be traveling to Edmonton to compete in the 25th Brick Super Novice Invitational Tournament.  “The Brick”, along with the Quebec Pee Wee Tournament and the World Jr. Championships are considered the best amateur hockey tourneys in the world.  Former Brick players include PK Subban, Jonathan Toews, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Dany Heatly, Blake Wheeler, Steven Stamkos and Dougie Hamilton.  So who knows?  Maybe we’ll see Michael Callow added to this list of NHL players.

In order to make this trip, Michael is looking for sponsorships and donations to help with expenses.  To make a donation visit: http://www.gofundme.com/7u5va4
