Boston Centers for Youth and Families’ Curley Community Center is proud to kick off its Anti-Bullying Campaign Thursday, February 21st, for youth and teens this month with a night filled with inspiration.

Local singer/songwriter, Jillian Jensen, 20, from  X Factor fame, will be the special guest speaker.  Jillian will speak about her experience of being bullied throughout middle school and high school and of bullies trying to crush her dreams.

The night will begin at 6:00pm with a Sports Museum presentation of “Boston vs Bullies,” an educational video featuring current athletes from Boston’s professional sports teams sharing their stories and providing kids with ways to stand strong against bullying. In the video, current athletes from the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, Boston Breakers, Boston Cannons, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, and the New England Revolution talk about the importance of standing up to bullying.  Also, up and coming teen superstars KENZIE and B-Capp from MusicBall Entertainment, who will also be on hand to join Jillian and to support the fight against bullying. Jillian Jensen will then speak about her incredible and moving story. Her story is a must hear and a great way for kids to learn first hand the impact of bullying.

The event will also include a “Meet and Greet” picture and autograph session with Jillian Jensen, KENZIE, B-Capp and Lynda Rose and pizza and refreshments!

This event is sponsored by the BYCF Curley Community Center, the Sports Museum and MusicBall Entertainment.
