Eat:
Steamers, mussels, and oysters, oh my!  Located in Fort Point, Row 34 features a menu of fresh seafood, steaks, homemade pasta, and a raw bar.  They also have an extensive beer and wine list.  Row 34 is open 7 days a week for lunch, brunch and dinner.  Make sure to save room for dessert!  Their butterscotch pudding is delicious!

Drink:
Raise your glass! Break up the gray days of winter with a trip to the Boston Wine Expo at the Seaport World Trade Center.  The full will be uncorked on Saturday, February 18th begging at 1pm and Sunday, February 19th at 5pm.  Events include the grand tasting with access to over 200 wineries sampling wine from all over the world!  Restaurants will be sampling food and exhibitors will be shocking products for you to try and purchase!  There will be cooking demos by celebrity chefs, guided tastings and seminars, silent auctions and meet-and-greets with wine makers.  You’ll also get a complimentary Boston Wine Expo glass too!  Cheers! I’m on a boat! Dream of warmer weather and go see The New England Boat show at the Boston Convention Center. Spend the day looking at boats, yachts, schooners, and nautical displays galore. If your wealthy enough to purchase one, good for you! If your like the rest of us, you can spend the day dreaming of the one you’ll buy when you hit the Power Ball. Do:
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  It’s Girl Scout Cookie time!  Support the SBCA Brownie/Girl Scout Troop!  They’ll be peddling their cookies – cash and carry – this weekend in Southie! Saturday, February 18th in front of East Boston Savings Bank on East Broadway from 1pm-3pm.  Pick us up some Thin Mints!

Taste:
Head to Social Wines on Sunday for a special tasting from 2pm-4pm.   Cask Force, a local company founded by a Southie resident, sources used whiskey barrels and ages Vermont maple syrup, resulting in syrups with classic whiskey flavor notes. Perfect for your breakfast table, or try your hand at some creative cocktail inspiration!

Watch:
The Bruins face the San Jose Sharks on Sunday, February 19th at 8:30pm.  Head out to watch the game!  After all it’s a long weekend, right?  Here 9 places to watch the game in Southie!

Dance:
Get your dancing shoes ready!  There are two big Southie fundraisers this weekend!  On Friday, February 17th support the George Connolly and Family Friendship Party and on Saturday, February 18th,  head to the Westin Waterfront for the Second Annual Winter Gala for the Donny Higgins Memorial Fund.  Two great events, two amazing families!  Show your support!  Need a dress to wear?  Stop by Best Dressed and they’re offering 20% off dress rentals and accessories!  Just mention the Donny Higgins event!

Register:
South Boston Catholic Academy is hosting a special high energy ride at The Handle Bar in Southie!  On Saturday, March 4th, arrive at 1:45pm to receive your complimentary pair of spin shoes for the ride and get set up on a bike. Spin from 2:00-2:45pm with friends from the SBCA community. Afterwards, meet up for complimentary apps, raffles and a cash bar at Stephi’s in Southie (across the street) from 3-5pm!
