Eat:
Roza Lyons is now serving brunch!  Stop by this weekend and enjoy delicious brunch items like their Breakfast Burrito, Eggs Benedict, or the Lyons Omelet!  Brunch is served from 10am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday! Don’t forget to order one of their amazing mimosas too!

Drink:
Oak + Rowan – Fort Point’s newest addition to the ever expanding choices in eating and drinking hot spots – will open this weekend!  This 5000 square foot restaurant is located at 319 A Street and is a cozy and chic spot to share some tuna crudo or the pasta tasting menu and indulge in one of their delicious signature cocktails some of which are mixed up table side at their traveling liquor cart!  They also have an extensive and impressive wine list.  You can check out their menus here! 

Shop:
We don’t want to freak you out – normally we don’t even like to think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving –  but Christmas is six weeks away.  Fear not!  The Laboure is hosting a special Christmas Shoppe this weekend! This boutique will feature amazing holiday decorating ideas as well as holiday gift items and it’s guilt-free shopping.  Not only will you be getting yourself ready for the holidays, you’ll also be supporting an important South Boston organization!  So it’s good karma! Stop by November 11th, November 12th, and November 13th  from 10am-5pm.   Visit here for a $25 off $100 coupon and get ready to shop!

Celebrate:
Celebrate with Sydni!  This is one of the reasons we love living in Southie!  After hearing about Sydni’s need for for a new van, a group of Southie residents have organized a special birthday celebration and fundraiser in honor of her birthday!  This family friendly event will feature skating, music, food, raffles and lots of fun!  It will take place on Friday, November 11th at 6pm at the Murphy Rink in Southie.

Watch:
Come watch the much anticipated UFC McGregor vs Alvarez fight at The Playwright! Half price tickets if you buy in advance! $10 at eventbrite (entry by 9pm) or $20 at the door to start. Purchase tickets in advance, their  UFC fights sell out quickly!

Cheer:

After Halloween comes Thanksgiving. Social Wines (52 West Broadway) wants to make your turkey day planning a little easier. Stop in between now and November 23rd and build your case (or half case) of wine!  Make your selections from any wine in the store! Mixing and matching is okay and enjoy extra savings!

Register:
Lace up those sneakers and get ready to run for a great local school – South Boston Catholic Academy.  On Saturday, December 4th at 10am join your friends and neighbors and run a 5K race along the South Boston beaches.  Start and finish is at South Boston Catholic Academy at 866 East Broadway.  Stick around for a post-race cookout.There is also fun for the kids on deck too with two youth races.  At 9:15 – 100 Meter Dash for kids (9 and under) and at 9:30 a 1/2 mile run (14 and under).  If you preregister by November 30th, it’s $20.  Post-registration is $25.  Youth preregistration is is $8 and post-registration is $10.   To register visit here!
