Tryout:
Jab, jab, hook.  Looking to show off your mad skills in the boxing ring?  Well, now’s your chance.  Beginning this weekend – January 24th and 25th from 1:30pm-3:30pm, at Peter Welch’s Gym (371 Dorchester Ave.) you can tryout and begin training to participate in the South Boston Citizens’ Association Boxing Show Friday, March 6th at 7pm.   Boys and girls of all ages are welcome to participate.  For more information and additional tryout times call Peter Welch’s at 617-269-4641.

Bar(re) Hop:
How are those new year’s resolutions going for you?  Put those “get in shape” resolutions into full gear with a special Bar-re Hop! The Handle Bar (141 Dot. On Sunday, January 25, The Handle Bar and Simply Barre are hosting a workout double header where you can get your cardio fix in a 60-minute cycling class and then work to lengthen and tone your body in a 60-minute barre class. Class participants who sign up for the Bar-re Hop will choose which workout they do first and after the class, they will walk the .02 miles to the next studio for their second workout of the day.
