Eat:
Sushi time!  Fat Baby  – Southie’s newest sushi spot –  is officially open!  Head there this weekend and enjoy tropical tiki drinks like the classic Mai Tai,  order up some sushi, dumplings, tempura and more!  Yum!  Opens daily at 5pm!

Drink:
Ice, Ice, Baby! Grab your parka and head to the Envoy Hotel at the Lookout Bar’s six rooftop igloos. The 7-foot-tall, 12-foot-wide weatherproof igloos are heated, of course, and are perfect for sipping cocktails while enjoying those skyline and harbor views. The igloos are available on a first come, first served basis on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 4-10pm through the winter and fleece blankets are available to keep you extra cozy.

Shop:
Perfect for your wine lovers on your Christmas List – the 02127 Wine Glass!  The Beauty Bar has plenty in stock!  Stop by this weekend and pick up a few!  While you’re there book yourself a facial or a blowout!  You deserve it right?

Stroll:
The Fort Point neighborhood of South Boston is hosting a Holiday Stroll on Friday, December 8th from 4pm-8pm.  Neighborhood businesses will be open for a unique evening of shopping with special offers, discounts, and holiday treats for all!

Sip:
How about cocktails and shopping?  Two of our favorite things!  Head to Grand Ten Distilling on Sunday from 1pm-7pm shop local artisans, makers, vendors and of course enjoy delicious cocktails by Grand Ten!

See:
Santa is coming, Santa is coming!  Children of all ages are welcome to join us for this free event with cookie decorating, hot cocoa & a photo op with Santa. All of the walls at District Hall are writable and will have coloring activities and games for the kids to play! We’ll be showing some favorite holiday movies and spreading holiday cheer.  Families are welcome to make reservations for brunch at Gather, right inside of District Hall, and next to the new Seaport Square Christmas Tree in the neighboring park! Of course, Mimosas & Bloody Marys will be available for purchase, along with our brunch specialties. Make your reservations at gatherboston.comBrew, inside District Hall will also be open and serving coffee, tea, hot chocolate & adult beverages! Guests are encouraged to bring a toy or cash donation to support the South Boston Boys & Girls Club!  The fun happens on Saturday, December 9th at 11am.  You can reserve your spot here! 

Do:
Deck the halls! Stop by and pick out a beauty at Brooksie’s Christmas tree pop up shop at 680 Dorchester Ave. near Andrew Square.  Whether you need an 8ft or a 4ft, they’ve got a wide variety.  Need a wreath for your front door?  They’ve got those too. Open daily from 10am-9pm and offering free local delivery. Perfect for you late-night tree shoppers.

Skate:
Looking for a fun way to keep the kids entertained? Lace up the skates and hit the ice.  The Murphy Rink is offering public skating through the winter.  If you don’ t have skates, don’t worry.  You can rent them from Teddy – he is the skate master (and local legend).  If your blades are dull, he’ll sharpen ’em up for you!So bundle up the family and head to the rink!  While you’re there, indulge in some rink pizza from the concession stand – many argue it’s the best in town!Friday: 12:00 pm-2:00 pm, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm Saturday: 7:00 pm-9:00 pm Sunday: 2:00 pm-4:00 pm
