Guess what?  Capo is now serving brunch!  The wildly popular Italian restaurant that just opened on West Broadway, has expanded its hours to include brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.  Feast on such deliciousness as Eggs al Forno, Spaghetti Pomodoro, Meatball Panini and oh, yeah….jugs of wine!  Check out Keriann’s review here!

Drink:
Worden Hall has got a new patio and also a new late night bites menu!  We’ll raise our glass to that!  Sit al fresco and enjoy craft beer, or some house sangria – they serve it by the glass or by the pitcher!  The kitchen now opens until 12Midnight serving up bar bites like meatballs, poutine curly fries and steak quesadillas!  Sweet!

Let the Open Markets begin! The Greenway Open Market (Rose Kennedy Greenway) officially begins their third season on Saturday, May 14th.  This open market is a vibrant arts market that features talented area artists, crafters and independent designers. It is held on Saturdays from May to October along the Wharf District Parks on the Rose Kennedy Greenway in downtown Boston. Here’s what you’ll find: handmade and locally produced products including fine art, jewelry, ceramics, crafts, apparel, accessories, and fair trade/eco friendly handmade imports and some tasty mobile eats!   The South End Open Market opened last week in their new location!  Get some fresh air, mix and mingle among rows and rows of artisans and vendors, enjoy lunch at one of the food trucks and shop till you drop.  Here’s what you will find: art, vintage, furniture, indie clothing designers, ceramics, glass, photography, jewelry, handbags, food trucks, bakers, farmers market, and flowers.  South End Open Market at Ink Block  (275 Harrison Ave.) happens every Sunday through October from 10am-4pm. South Boston Arts Association is proud to welcome actor (and Southie guy) Jimmy LeBlanc to their monthly meeting.  The “Spotlight” and “Gone Baby Gone” actor will discuss his career on Saturday, May 14th at 9:30am at the Curley Community Center – M Street Side.  Enjoy conversation, refreshments and meet new people!  This event is free and open to the public

Listen:
Oh, oh, oh, listen to the music!  Good weather means having some fun outdoors!  Boston Calling Block Party Series kicks off on Thursday, May 12th!  Head to the Greenway listen to live music, play some lawn games, and enjoy a Shock Top or a glass of Wicked Wines. This series takes place every Thursday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, beginning Thursday, May 12, 2016 through September 15, 2016. All block parties are free and open to the public but you must be 21+ to join the fun. Experience:
Makes sure to check out GREY EAGLE – Mary Ellen Strom’s exhibition and epic video with live narration by the artist at 555 Gallery. The closing Reception and Final Performance will be held Sunday, May 15 at 4pm. Gallery opens at 3pm with a performance at 4pm. It’s a do not miss!

The South Boston Firefighters & the Massachusetts General Hospital Medical Intensive Care Unit will be hosting a blood drive at the K Street Firehouse (700 East Fourth Street) on Saturday, May 14th from 11:30am-4:30pm.
