Breakfast is back. Beginning September 7th, the Seapoint (367 East Eighth) brings back their popular breakfast from 10a-1pm. From Irish breakfast to a breakfast burrito, the Seapoint serves up your favorites. Their mile-high Bloody Marys and tasty Mimosas are worth a try too. Stick around for the game later.
Last call for the Quencher Tavern! The legendary Quencher Tavern (170 I Street) will close its doors in November. Whether it’s your hundredth time in the Q or your first time, stop by and have a drink this weekend. It’s one of our favorite old school Southie bars and the Quencher will be missed!

We love a parade! It’s the annual South Boston Youth Soccer Parade on Thursday, September 5th at 6pm. Stop by the Moakley Park Soccer Field and watch the youth of South Boston parade around the field sporting their new uniforms. Hip, hip, hooray!
In celebration of Recovery Month, a special night of hope and inspiration is planned for Friday, September 6th from 6pm-9pm a the IBEW Hall in Dorchester (256 Freeport Street). Listen to inspiration speakers share their stories including Ken Casey from the Dropkick Murphy’s and former Boston Celtics player Chris Herren. Special Honoree of the evening is candidate for mayor and State Representative Marty Walsh. The night will be hosted by local comedic legend Steve Sweeney.
