Do you trudge home every Friday night, too tired to really enjoy the start of the weekend? Do you wish you could leave the anxiety of the work week behind and enter the weekend with energy and clarity? Then join B Yoga for the new Happy Hour yoga class 6pm-7pm. They mix up different flavors and styles of yoga, starting out with some gentle restorative yoga to leave the stress of the week behind, but moving on to an energy-and strength-building practice to launch your weekend the right way.  Recharge and energize!  B Yoga (516 East Second Street)

Support:
Get fired up for St. Patrick’s Day! On Saturday, February 23rd from 10am-12pm The South Boston Citizen’s Association – the nations oldest neighborhood organization by the way – is having its yearly Jimmy Flaherty Kickoff Breakfast for the Evacuation Day Events. South Boston Citizen’s Association President Tom McGrath will be running the festivities with City Councilor Bill Linehan as the Honorary Chairman from The Cornerstone Restaurant (West Broadway).   The Henry Knox Award will also be presented to an outstanding volunteer from our community.  Suggested donation is $10. A breakfast buffet will be served and entertainment provided by Currah’s Fancy!

Cheers:
With St. Patrick’s Day less than a month away, this Sunday, February 24th is the perfect time to get fired up!  Show your Irish pride at the Seapoint  (367 East Eighth) on Sunday at 6pm, the Irish band Inchicore takes the stage and will have you clapping your hands, tapping your feet and up and dancing for sure. There is no cover charge so gather up a group, order up a round of Guinness and Jameson and raise your glass to Ireland!

What do Irish step-dancing, Treacle Farls bread-making, cow milking, and chicken egg collecting have in common?  They are a few of the events that will be taking place at the EHF Goes Irish Weekend, March 8-10, 2013.
