November 30th

Good deed:
No one likes to see an orange parking ticket on the windshield of your car.  Honestly, it ruins your day.  Mayor Menino would like to take the sting out of your parking infraction. This weekend the Toys for Tickets program is happening.  From Thursday, November 29 to Saturday, December 1, any non-public safety parking ticket you receive you can skip paying by donating a new toy to the city’s annual toy drive.
The donated toys are given to families in need throughout Boston’s neighborhoods through a variety of programs.  This year other items are being accepted as donation too such  as coats, hats and gloves.
