Eleven divers –  from seven countries will compete 2012. Rather than natural cliffs, the divers will use the cantilever roof of the Institute of Contemporary Art building as their diving platform which soars 75 feet above the water’s edge.  Two-time Olympic Gold medalist Greg Louganis offers his diving expertise as one of the judges on the tour.  This event is free and takes place from 4pm to 6:30 pm.??

If you’re like us, you had every intention of going to a North End Feast this summer.  We’ll guess what?  There is only one left.  The Feast of St. Anthony takes place from August 24th-27th.  Grab a cannoli and stroll the streets.  Eat, drink, celebrate!  For more information go to www.stanthonysfest.com?

Go Green:
The last Friday of every month is Walk/Ride Day!  Walk to work or ride your bike instead of talking your car.   If you do, you will reap the benefits from some local Southie businesses.  The South Boston Running Emporium (343 W Broadway) offers 10% off purchases to people who wear green and mention that they are participating in Walk/Ride Day.  Blue Tierra Chocolate Cafe (258 West Broadway) is giving away a free piece of handmade gourmet chocolate to walk/ride day participants, starting this month.  The Green Streets Initiative celebrates and promotes the use of sustainable, active transportation.  Sounds good to us!?

Hey! Quick question that?s totally off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My site looks weird when browsing from my iphone. I?m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to correct this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share. Many thanks!
