With the ever so clever inclusion of the Massachusetts state bird as their name, Ted Kilpatrick and Jon DaSilva, (proud alumni of the South Boston native Barbara Lynch’s No. 9 Park) opened Chickadee last month in the Design and Innovation building on Drydock Avenue. In the ever-expanding landscape of spots to eat and drink in the neighborhood, looks like another one can be added to the list! Chickadee has opened its doors at 21 Dry Dock. According to Boston Eater, John DaSilva and Ted Kilpatrick – both from No.9 Park are the people behind the restaurant named for our state bird and will serve up lunch and dinner with seasonal New England ingredients with a dash of Mediterranean. Southie Restaurant News: Chickadee
In the ever-expanding landscape of spots to eat and drink, looks like another one can be added to the list! According to Marc Hurwitz of Hidden Boston/Boston Restaurant Blog, a spot called Chickadee - is seeking a liquor license for 21 Dry Dock. Two names associated with Chickadee are John DaSilva and Ted Kilpatrick - both from No.9 Park. No. 9 Park is owned by Southie girl and celebrity chef Barbara Lynch. DaSilva is also known for his work at Spoke in Davis Square. The liquor license hearing is set for Wednesday, March 14th. So we shall see.
