Keep the weekend going! Both Loco and Lincoln will be open for brunch on Monday, for MLK Day! Both spots open at 10am! Enjoy breakfast tacos and coconut margaritas at Loco – don’t forget the chips & guacamole! At Lincoln, feast on everything from breakfast pizza, short rib poutine, Fruity Pebble pancakes to burgers, mac & cheese and more! Buckets of Bubbles, Bloody Marys and Brunch Punch to complete the experience!

Drink:
How about a punch bowl of fun? The Broadway serves up some oversized cocktails in a large silver bowl perfect for six or more! Backyard Betty’s has it all! Nachos, $5 mimosas and a backyard of fun! If you love nachos, you’ll love the nachos from Backyard Betty’s! Try:
Just in time for shoveling snow, Trillium Brewery will be rolling out the release of their new double IPA called True New Englander! This beer salutes “all of the bona fide New Englanders out there – those who are brave enough to take on a long, Nor’ Easter shoveling session….” The can appropriately has a shovel and a beach chair – no doubt referencing the time honored tradition of saving a parking spot after a snow storm in Boston! This double IPA features the new Sabro hop from the Pacific Northwest. Notes of pineapple, lychee, mango and other complex flavors. They’ll also be giving way a  very limited edition 16oz True New Englander koozies to keep your hands warm while your beer stays cold. The official release debuts on Monday, January 21 beginning at 11:00 AM  at the new Trillium Restaurant and Brewery at 50 Thomson Place in Fort Point.

Park:
With impending snow in the forecast are you afraid to move your car for fear of losing your on street parking spot? Enjoy 24 hour weekend parking for just $10 at Underground at Ink Block! Starts Friday at 3pm until Monday at at 7am!*  Underground at Ink Block (90 Traveler Street) is located under 93, so it’s covered – which means minimal shoveling for you! There is also $10 parking available evenings during the week for up to 10 hours. Just be in Monday-Friday after 5pm and out by 8am the next morning. *tickets must be pulled before midnight on Sunday to qualify for the rate.

Spice it up:
Coppersmith is hosting another Sunday Night Live with a kick!  Enjoy the Pats Game, spicy food, beer and live music!  You can also play cornhole, giant Jenga, Pop-A-Shot and more! Fun starts at 6pm!

Be a good neighbor! In case you missed this news, we are in the midst of a record breaking partial government shutdown. Thomas Park/Dorchester Heights is currently not picking up the trash – so kindly don’t leave your dog poop bags! Use common sense and throw them in your own garbage can at home. Thank you! Here’s the good, the bad, and the kind of annoying when it comes to the shutdown.

Get your motor running at the 2019 New England Auto Show. It’s the biggest Auto Show in New England and it’s located at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Showcasing the newest models of the year – cars, vans, crossovers, hybrids, light trucks and sport utilities, the New England Auto Show will have factory and dealer representatives from the car lines on hand to answer your questions in a no pressure environment. It’s the perfect event to compare prices and features and see what’s under the hood. Whether you are in the market for a new car or your doing research for when you hit the Powerball next time, the New England Auto Show is a fun event. The South Boston Public Library is hosting a book sale this Saturday, January 19th from 10am-4pm. This sale will have a plenty of history and biographies represented! Reading is a perfect way to chase away the winter blues!

Sculpt and Flow:
East Side Yoga is hosting special sculpt and flow flash class on Monday, January 21st from 11am-12:30pm. Join Rebecca and Paulina for a  Vinyasa warm up, followed by an intense yoga-sculpt with weights to kick up your heart rate and tone your muscles, ending in a restorative Vinyasa to cool you down and stretch you out! Spin, Sculpt and Sip:
On Saturday, January 19th Thomas at Motivated Fitness will be hosting one of his patented Spin & Sculpt classes at 11:00am with a twist! Everyone who attends not only gets (closer) to a six-pack of abs, but they also get a 6 pack of Truly spiked seltzers! This class will be $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers and all proceeds will be going to Thomas’ Pan Mass Challenge fundraising goal.Come for the workout, stay after for the seltzers!

Workout for Colin’s Joy Project! Lace up your sneakers and sign up for a special TRAIN class at EverybodyFights Seaport and then head on over to Local 149 after for some post-workout refreshments and free apps and help raise some funds for Colin’s Joy Project! This event takes place on Saturday, March 2nd at 12:30pm-2:30pm. Post workout mixer will take place at Local 149. Tickets are $50and can be purchased here!
